Horden Cricket Club is located in the village of Horden in the North East of England (County Durham to be exact). Established in 1908 when the population of Horden started growing due to the recently sunk coal mines we have been providing cricket to the village for over 100 years now.  We are a member of the Readers Durham Cricket League since its creation in 2013. The club has had a number of successes, winning the now defunct Durham Senior League on a number of occasions as well as a number of local cup competitions. We currently operate 3 senior sides at 1st, 2nd and 3rd XI levels as well as 4 junior teams from under 11 to under 18's and have games played almost every day of the week during the summer.

As well as the local talent, Horden CC has been lucky enough to host a string of players from more exotic climates. For many years the success of Horden CC centered around an excellent professional who was well supported by the local players. Horden CC has been lucky enough to engage the services of former test cricketers, and now Horden CC legends, Nadeem Khan (Pakistan) and Derick Parry (West Indies).

We are always on the look out for new members be it playing or non-playing, if you are interested in becoming a member of our club please contact us via the Contact Us page.
